About the Cassidy family

John Cassidy and his wife, Shawne, have been happily married for 25 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Hanna, who they are extremely proud of.

Shawne

My loving, understanding and supporting wife for 25 years. Born in Cheraw SC and grew up in Florence SC, Shawne is a selfless woman.  Working in hospitals, donating time working with the Humane Society and teaching elementary school for 28 years has defined her kind heart.  She earned Teacher of the Year in Florence County District 1.  She is the best supportive mom to our two girls.  Now retired, Shawne is taking care of her 85 year old mom, Hannah Deaver.  

Hailey

Our first child, who has grown up to be an incredible young lady.  She acted upon the lesson that you can do anything you want to in life with the right amount of work, dedication and self awareness.  Hailey, graduated Wofford College with an Accounting Degree and earned her Masters in Accounting at College of Charleston. Throughout her years at Wofford, Hailey took advantage of their study abroad program visiting and absorbing the lessons taught throughout the world  in places like South Africa, Europe and Bonaire.  She now lives in New York City working with one of the top 10 accounting firms in the country.

Hanna

Our youngest daughter is one of the most dynamic young ladies you can ever meet.  She has never met a stranger.  Her energy and friendliness is contagious.  Hanna is currently a senior at USC (Columbia) finishing up her Nursing Degree.  Hanna has a heart bigger than you can imagine.  She is the person that lights up the family.

John

John Cassidy grew up in Carteret, New Jersey for the first 17 years of his life.  John graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen NJ.  As a young kid entrepreneurship came to John naturally, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and working as soon as he could at local businesses. John was always surrounded by adults who were self made.  John’s parents, Ruth & Jack Cassidy, retired to Conway SC when John was accepted at and attended Coastal Carolina College. Back then Coastal was a branch campus of the University of South Carolina.  John studied business with an emphasis in Real Estate while at CCU.  At Coastal Carolina John was one of the founding members of the Coastal Carolina Bulldogs, a club football team at Coastal.  In 1987, the began winning Conference Championships for the next few years.  This was the stimulus for CCU’s football program today.  John had the wonderful opportunity to successfully complete the Walt Disney World College Program where he studied Management Disney Style.  In 1989, John  started his first business in Conway which was a jet ski rental business under the 501 bridge at Savanah Bluff Landing. He sold the operation in 1990.  While at CCU, John made a lot of friends, who he still stays in touch with until this day.  One, however had similar ideas about what to do with our future after Coastal.  So in 1991, Scott Creech (John’s long-time  business partner and best friend) started Duplicates Printing in Downtown Conway on 3rd Ave.  In the past 30 years, John and Scott have both seen and experienced just about everything a business owner and homeowner could experience.  From recessions, floods,  inflation, pandemics, and a lot more.  John and Scott made a commitment to surround themselves with the best of the best. It has blessed John with a successful business run by a team of experts who all worry about their clients first.  Now a new chapter has presented it’s self for John to give back to his local community and actually serve the people who have made Conway and Carolina Forest areas such a wonderful place to live life.
